Basically
it is not a torte, just lots of layers of thin protein packed pancakes filled
with low calorie chocolate spread and chunky peanut butter. Quick, healthy, nutritious and yummy! Satisfies well sweet tooth!
Ingredients
Batter:
-300g
white flour (gluten free is fine as well)
-3
whole eggs
-300ml
carbonated water
-1
tbsp sugar
-50g
protein powder (I always use unflavoured)
-pinch
of salt
-oil
spray for greasing the pans
Filling:
-peanut
butter (I love to chew on chunky bites but smooth is easier to spread)
Preparation
Mix
all the batter ingredients well together. Make sure any bits of flour and lumps incorporated.
Spray
little oil in the pan and heat on high temperature. Pour half of ladle batter
into the pan. As soon as the batter hits the hot pan, tip it around from side
to side to get the base evenly coated with batter.
It cooks quickly – when edges
start to curl it is time to flip over with a pan slice. Repeat until all the
batter has gone. I always use two pans so I do not need to wait for any crepes to
cook.
Spread
one pancake with Choc Pot then the next one with peanut butter and repeat.
