Quick Beauty Fixes

La Belle Famille, L’Oreal’s beauty panel sent me some makeup bag essentials to try. I can confirm these products are a must-have for every women.

The first product is something new, called Lip Spa. It is a sweet, sugary Lip Scrub in stick format. Like a handy lip balm. It smells delicious and tastes sweet. I have chosen the green Melon Breeze one, because it is my favourite summer fruit. Anyway there are even pink Berry Blast and yellow Peach Twist in the range. Lip Scrub can help a lot, when I suffer from flaky lips. Air conditioner and even whitening toothpastes make my lips to peel. I cannot apply lipstick perfectly on my flaky lips so I always exfoliate with Lip Spa first to get beautiful healthy and kissable lips. I use L’Oreal Exfoliating Sugar Scrub to get rid of excess skin and afterward I apply some lip balm to moisturise and smoothen my lips. After this quick procedure my lipstick holds longer and looks professional.

The second product is something timeless, called La Petite Palette. Mini Eyeshadow Palette with five shades in totally perfect harmony. It is very easy to use for everyone. There is even an easy to follow guide on the backside of the handy box. You do not need to be a makeup artist or a regular, experienced makeup wearer to spice up your style with beautiful and sexy eye makeup for a date night or a party. Just grab your brushes and be creative. I have chosen the Fetishist Eyeshadow Palette, because I adore black colour, but there are five more L’Oreal Mini Palettes to choose from: Maximalist, Nudist, Optimist, Stylist, Feminist. Yay, I also love these names so much.

L'Oreal Men Expert

Two weeks ago I have got two L’Oreal Men Expert anti-perspirant deodorant sprays to try out. My choice went to Shirt Protect and Thermic Resist. L’Oreal Shirt Protect antiperspirant deodorant spray was my first choice, because I usually wear blacks and of course I hate when I have big white marks on my sport wests. Luckily Shirt Protect spray protects my clothes indeed. Consequently I do not have to throw out my favourite wests because deodorants had damaged them. L’Oreal Shirt Protect antiperspirant deodorant is also powerful and keeps the bad odours perfectly away. Has very refreshing, youthful fragrance. I have nothing against L’Oreal Shirt Protect anti-perspirant deodorant spray.

In my opinion red L’Oreal Men Expert products have the more masculine fragrance. I use red L’Oreal shower gel and red L’Oreal roll-on, following I was excited to try out the red coloured L’Oreal Men Thermic Resist anti-perspirant deodorant spray. I was not disappointed, the fragrance is delicious – masculine perfume like. I am happy to use this spray on any occasion. This anti-perspirant deodorant spray is heat resistant, in that way does not let me down even in hottest situations, like extreme temperature and physical exercise. Thermic Resist is the best summer holiday antiperspirant deodorant. I always carry it with me in my backpack.”

Bonjour Nudista

I love invisible but touch up make-up. It is the best solution when I am late and have only 2 minutes to pull oneself together. L’Oreal has lots of products to fit this requirement. La Belle Famille sent me the miraculous L’Oreal Paris Bonjour Nudista and matching Back To Bronze to try out. I do not even have to mention these products totally convinced me.

L’Oreal Bonjour Nudista is a skin tint cream. I have light skin tone – especially in winter – so I ordered Medium Light colour. It suits me perfectly, in light layer the shade is absolutely invisible but my skin looks younger, fresher and more perfect without visible pores. I can recommend Bonjour Nudista even for women who hardly ever wear make-up and for young schoolgirls too. The consistency is creamy but absorbs rapidly and has a matte finish. Bonjour Nudista does not leave my face shiny with a greasy feeling even after hours. It also has very nice feminine fragrance.

L’Oreal Back To Bronze Gentle Matte Bronzing Powder comes in a compact box with mirror and mini bronzing brush. I can use it quickly everywhere for a perfect sun kissed look. Back To Bronze is perfect for everyday use not just for party time. Never more dull and tired skin tone. I apply Back To Bronze on my cheeks, forehead, nose bridge and chin. I apply it in light layer because I like to keep my natural look. In box this colour seemed too dark to me but after trying it out I am very satisfied with this shade. Bronzing powder has to be quite dark compared to your skin tone.

Colorista Denimhair

I love to change my hair colour time to time. I am happy to try any colours. Blue is one of my favourite colours so of course I have said “yes” when L’Oreal La Belle Famille asked me to try Colorista #denimhair. This hair dye is designed for brunets, it is nearly invisible on black hair and they advise do not use on blonde, but it is fine even on brown ombre and highlights.

I had brown-red colour so I was really excited to try my new long wear #denimhair. Application was very easy and quick, because there is only one tube of the colour and you do not need to mix any components. There are 2 pairs of gloves in the box, but I advise you to use your own pair, because all my gloves ripped during the activity.

After 30 minutes I had a new custom made hair colour what I really enjoy. I think, it also totally suits my age. This hair colour is not even for young rebels.

L’Oreal Colorista contains very intensive pigments. It means, the colour lasts long, even 10-20 shampoos. It fades nicely, absolutely does not give you weary look. Even be cautious by first 2-3 hair washing and use the shower instead of bath tube. If accidentally your ears or neck remain blue use L’Oreal Fine Flower Cleansing Toner.

I love my new hair colour and even the quality of my hair is better and smoother. I can only recommend L’Oreal Colorista.

New Year...No Stress

My first blog post this year is a guest post. I persuaded my partner, Thomas, to take part in L’Oreal’s new product test panel: Expert Test Drive. They have projects only for men.

Thomas has got his first invitation on his 40^th birthday so the Expert Test Drive started perfectly. The biggest bonus is, he loved both products very much – me too, I adore lush smelling grooming products for men.

“I tried L’Oreal Men Expert Stress Resist Roll On Deo, because I loved the fragrance. I can imagine wearing a perfume with similar scent. My partner also loves this very lightly fruity, rather woody  and fresh fragrance on me. The fragrance is long-lasting, I can even smell this masculine scent after a stressful and long day without reapply. I am really satisfied with L’Oreal Men Expert Stress Resist 48HR. The consistency of this deodorant is light, non-greasy, absorbs & dries quickly. Luckily does not contain alcohol, so does not irritates my skin after shaving. I like even the very distinctive red tube – easy to spot on shelves.”

“L’Oreal Men Expert Stress Resist Shower Gel was crafted definitely for me, because contains French wine extract. This shower gel provides perfect relaxing for any men. The fragrance is pleasant, but masculine with woody and fruity notes. I use Stress Resist Shower Gel even on my face and beard. It does not dry my skin. I love, that I do not need to use three different products because my XL size shower gel solves all my problems. We men love simple but perfect things.”

Magic Retouch

I tried L’Oreal Magic Retouch Instant Root Concealer Spray thanks to La Belle Famille online panel.

I would like to advise everybody, who would like to hide their grey hair or dyes hair, to always have one bottle of L’Oreal Magic Retouch in their bathroom cabinet. This products comes very handy in lots of situations. It is a perfect and invisible quick fix. Hides overgrown hair and has perfect grey coverage. It is extremely easy to use. Magic Retouch hides these hair imperfections in just three seconds. It is absolutely mess free, leaking is impossible when you use it 10cm from your hair in small amount. If you use too much, it colours the skin too. Just use a very light stream. Comb after it is completely dry. Do not worry, it dries really quickly. Few minutes waiting is enough. L’Oreal Magic Retouch Instant Root Concealer Spray washes out completely after first wash. I tested it in light rain and luckily have not experienced any colour leaking. I am totally satisfied with this product. Of course Magic Retouch cannot substitute my well-loved L’Oreal Casting Crème Gloss but it is a perfect match and long term relationship.

Brush Up

I have written in my previous post about L’Oreal’s fantastic foundation brush the green True Match Minerals Brush. I loved this brush so much, I tried more L’Oreal make up brushes. This time from Infaillible range. Of course L’Oreal Paris La Belle Famille Program helped me to choose the best one.

I have tried L’Oreal Infallible Blush Brush to perfect my contouring skills. I love to finish my make-up with highlighter and some red colours on my cheeks. I feel my make-up is unfinished; grey and lifeless without.

I love my new Infaillible Blusher Brush because it looks professional and my make-up finish looks more professional too. It is really easy and quick to use.

Autumn Colour Changes

Summer is already over and everything changes with autumn. I enjoy nature’s autumnal colours so I thought I will change myself a little bit as well. L’Oreal Paris La Belle Famille Program supported my plans and sent me three fantastic  and surprising beauty product to test.

I started with my hair colour. I have not dyed my hair very long time ago so it was much needed. I have darker brown hair but sunshine faded the ends and signs of ageing show already too. I chose the Mahogany Henna colour from L’Oreal Casting Crème Gloss range. This dye lasts up to 28 shampoos. I can confirm glossy colour lasts very long, does not fade quickly and does not leave your hair lifeless after 2-3 shampooing.

This colour was a huge surprise for me. I wanted just glossy and more even hair colour but Casting Crème Gloss transformed my brown hair to a lively copper shade. First it was a little shock, but now I totally love it and I will try different shades too: Auburn, Golden and Black.

I always wanted to find a hair dye which is easy to use at home and can change my hair colour evenly after first use. I dyed all my hair myself with no mess.

L’Oreal Casting Crème Gloss comes with luminising conditioner enriched with royal jelly and delicious fragrance.

Now it is time to buy some Magic Retouch to complete my look.

I change the colour of my foundation three times per year. I use very light colour at winter and darker during summer months because I get a tan easily. Autumn is quite tricky because my shade continuously changes. I have find my perfect autumn colour with L’Oreal True Match Mineral Foundation. I use rose vanilla. I love this foundation because does not clogs my pores and has matte finish. Sea minerals help me to fight blemishes, my skin is clear since I use True Match Minerals. I apply loose powder with matching L’Oreal True Match Minerals Brush. I also keep my brush clean, because dirty brushes can cause blemishes too. I prefer to use loose powder with brush because it helps me to use only the right amount of foundation. True Match Minerals Brush is very easy to use because has short handle. I am in love with shiny green colour too.

Revitalift Laser Renew

Summer is approaching so we can enjoy sunshine again but we should shield skin from sun damage. With ageing our skin gets sun damage and pigmentation easier. Prevention gets more and more important so I started to use L’Oreal revitalift-laser-renew-spf20 with UVA/UVB protection. La Belle Famille product test & review panel sent me one pot of this fantastic anti-ageing day cream to try. I was shocked because the result was visible immediately. My skin became firmer and visibly younger after first application. I have fine lines and dull skin and I am in targeted age – after 30 years old. Revitalift-laser-renew-spf20 is suitable from 30 years old until 60.

Revitalift-laser-renew-spf20 day cream absorbs very quickly and has very lightweight consistency. It does not make my skin oily or shiny just softer. My skin tone more lively and brighter. This product does not just refirms my skin but even refines with gentle exfoliator formula. I advise you to massage revitalift-laser-renew-spf20 into the skin in circular motions to increase the effectiveness. The result is amazing.
